THE LAVENDER LADY

The Lavender Lady is the name of Lynley's 1889 Victorian home and the Ghost that Lynley believes resides there. Her friendly Ghost has been heard many times by Lynley and her children and seen only once, by someone else, since Lynley bought the home in 2003. There is no prior information. The Lady seems to like Lynley's award-winning home improvements, and so causes no trouble.

Lynley Kerr Hogan was raised in Los Gatos, California, having attended Los Gatos and Saratoga schools from pre-school through high school. She is a graduate of Saratoga High School and UC Santa Barbara, where she studied Law and Society. After leaving high-tech sales in 1998, Lynley became a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker and later Alain Pinel Realtors, and is most passionate about making the most of one's home. Lynley won the Town of Los Gatos' "Beautification" award in 2006. Her gut reaction to a property is learned from many generations of family stories passed down to her. She knows a lot about real estate and the true value of Silicon Valley "dirt". Lynley is the person with whom you want to talk for all your questions regarding schools, homes, and lifestyle in Los Gatos. She is a familiar and friendly face to many people in town. Likewise, Lynley is very knowledgeable of Silicon Valley and the surrounding area. She has many stories to tell, indeed!
